Welcome to our special day! Our wedding was such an amazing, casual, country wedding. We married on July 4th, 2014. At first the idea of getting married on the fourth seemed corny to me, but it was so much fun! Not everyone gets a firework show on their wedding day! We had everything to match the fourth theme, from BBQ pulled pork sandwiches as our main dish, and a smore's bar and bon fire in the evening. Everything went off without a hitch (besides a little rain) and I'm so thankful to have had so many friends and family there to celebrate with us! Our wedding party consisted of some of our closest friends, Chelsie Jung as Maid Of Honor and Justin Walz as Best Man. Bridesmaids included my sister, Makayla Bower, Alicia Walz, Lexie Bennett and Rae Anne Spence. Groomsmen included Cameron Joutsen, Josh Oakes, Jake Oakes and Dustin Larson. Our minister was one of long time great friends, Doug Joutsen and I don't think we could have chosen a better person to marry us. He kept the ceremony light and fun, which is exactly what we wanted, he even threw in a few jokes! We had so much fun. Our photographer's slogan is "Moments into Memories" and I feel that she did just that! I'm so happy with how they turned out, I know that I will cherish these for a lifetime!

Lacey had quite the issue with her dress, the poor thing was so tight on her little chest and she did not want to wear it all. I gave her all my love before sending her away to her daddy to walk down the aisle.

At this point, Lacey was just so over her dress, she literally stripped in front of everyone and then snuggled with my dad during the ceremony. Poor girl!

After five years together, a house, many trucks, different jobs, one child, one airlift to the hospital and broken back, a dog, three cats and an everlasting bond through it all, we made it to one of the best days of our life. I am thankful for everyone and everything that went so well for our marriage, we are so blessed to have such amazing people in our lives to share all of this with! Here's to many more years, tears and adventures together! Muah!
